Good morning, evening, afternoon or night.

As you requested Command, I am giving you my full report on the SCP-427 report and my perspectives and takeaways regarding the incident.

Incident Report #6 - "Beauty and the Beast"

I also have the test log for what occurred during the test, which I am forwarding as well.

Test Log #022 "Flesh Beast Extraction"

To summarize my report, basically I concluded that nobody was to blame. While it is true that the test was a complete failure and resulting in massive casualties for the Foundation in all departments, every necessary precaution and more was taken to attempt to conclude this test in a safe and secure way. Multiple fail safes for every situation were created in order to make sure that staff would be safe and if a SCP-427-1 was created it would be terminated almost immediately. Unfortunately these failed due to circumstances that were unavoidable given the situation at hand, it may be deemed human error but personally I wouldn't call it that. Security acted with bravery and ferocity when dealing with the instance and Dr. Smooth was well prepared and ensured the safety of staff to the best of his abilities before, during and after the incident.

Unfortunately however I have come to a grave conclusion about the effects felt from the breach. 57% of the entire facility were killed or are presumed dead due to the test. 8 out of 14 personnel who participated in the test are dead. 59% of our security force was killed, and 66% percent of present research staff. We took heavy damage, and multiple repairs are needed especially in R-Wing which will set back our Engineering Department quite a bit. SCP-427 is presumed to captured and held by hostile GOI GRU-P. An almost Code Black situation occurred and without assistance from Command and the Mobile Task Force likely would've gone through. We have been gravely set back by this incident and our current situation looks dire.

Steps will be taken effective immediately to attempt to recapture SCP-427 and bring it back into Foundation custody. Right now we are lucky that GRU-P seemingly doesn't know what SCP-427 does and has been trying it's best to get information from us on it's properties. As such it's possible an incident that happened to us may happen to them, but this time without perpetration and knowledge on what the object does. Still though this cannot be relied upon. Since logistics has fulfilled our request for the gear we requested, we are now in a position to possibly enact a raid on the known GRU-P base within the forest only a small distance from us. Plans are in the works between me, the Investigations Department and my high command to make a move soon once our forces are ready and able to attack the base. We only need the permission to do so, if no response is made I will assume it is approved.

I am deeply sorry for our recent failures, but we are working hard to come back and bring back glory to Area-48. If anything this incident has strengthened our will and resolve immeasurably.

Best regards,
-Jack Danger (Chief of Security)
