Full Name: Bethany Bee

Rank: Research Manager

Subject SCP/Object: UA-003

Explain the goal of testing: The goal of this test was to create a means of communicating with the creature.

Explain your hypothesis: Since we were able to find out that the anomaly is intelligent, I wanted to find a way to talk with it more reliably with drawings since it could not speak.

Summarize your process during testing: We would let the anomaly into the small R-Wing Testing Chamber and show it a bunch of pictures I drew and hope that it understands. Eventually by the end of the test we would see if it could draw it's own drawings to answer questions and things like that.

Detail the Result and if your hypothesis was correct: The test started with moving the anomaly to the testing chamber, of which was done with no issues. A D-Class was then let inside the chamber to open the containment cube. Afterwards the creature came out and attempted to eat the heart of the D-Class. Sadly, the D-Class could not see that he was being used for something greater and fought back. The anomaly was not too injured but the D-Class was terminated. The creature then swiftly ate his heart. The creature was then allowed in the next rooms with all the drawings. I pointed at a drawing of a D-Class and then to a drawing of a heart and then finally to a drawing of the alien itself. It then pointed at the drawing of Foundation staff and then to the drawing of the D-Class and then finally to the drawing of itself. Hinting at it wants hearts from everyone and anyone. After that I pointed to the heart, then the foundation staff, and then to a drawing of the containment cube in an effort to tell it that if it eats one of our hearts that is where it will go. It got quite upset at that and tore the drawing down, putting it into a ball, and then tossing it aside. It then pointed at my heart and then to itself. Which was not very nice. After a while it became uncooperative and we began to plan how we would get it into the other room so that we could put drawing materials inside for it to use. However during the discussion the alien started pointing to staff and then pointing to the lever that would set it free. While none of us were willing to listen to it, one janitor who had walked in from seemingly nowhere, decided to set it free. Despite our best efforts, the anomaly escaped. The janitor however was not so lucky. During interrogation they ran and were shot by security. The test was completely unsuccessful and resulted in the loss of the anomaly. Thankfully however, no staff were harmed.

List of all involved personnel: Special Agent McLeary, Dr. Smooth, Medical Director Kingsley, Engineering Lt. Odette, and several others who I cannot remember.

List of all resulting casualties: A D-Class and a Janitor.

As I told you in person, this test which should've been simple is a huge failure. You are responsible as much much as the officer in charge for what goes on during your tests and it is your job to put in measures to stop incidents from these from occurring. Do not let this happen again.

I have to greatly disagree with you Danger. All the necessary precautions were taken for any reasonable and foreseeable outcomes. Security was briefed on what to do in case of a breach, and were on standby the entire time with extra equipment to do so. All who were present will agree that this was no fault of my own or the fault of any security or research staff as it was a completely unforeseeable outcome that occurred on the whim of a random janitor who for whatever reason decided releasing the anomaly would be a good idea. Regardless of why they did it, the breach was entirely their doing and all will agree that they are entirely to blame for the breach and the loss of the anomaly. Trust when I say that under normal circumstances this test would have gone by like any other. Unless another of foundation staff suddenly decides to go rogue, my tests will continue to run smoothly. I can also assure you I will have my anomaly back, even if I have to pry it from the soil it hides in myself.

Referring to previous incidents in the testing premises that possibly is connected to the breach on why it happened. It's unacceptable and unprofessional as well as dangerous. Keep it in mind.
