Full Name: John Reach

Rank: Assistant Researcher

Subject SCP/Object: SCP-173

Explain the goal of testing: The goal of this test is to see if SCP-173 has any sentience.

Explain your hypothesis: If given the tools to write, SCP-173 would have the ability to draw, write, and correct documents.

Summarize your process during testing: A D-Class was instructed to tape a pencil onto SCP-173's arm. The D-class was also told to drop 3 documents into SCP-173 Containment: a piece of notebook paper, drawing paper, and the SCP-173 printed document. All 3 were recovered.

Detail the Result and if your hypothesis was correct: After SCP-173 was given all the listed supplies, the Containment cell was closed so it could move around and write if possible. After waiting 2 minutes, I went in and retrieved the supplies. SCP-173 had broken the pencil, and his liquid was on the pages. SCP-173 is proven to have no ability to speak or write. Although the hypothesis was proven wrong, we have recovered the pages, and that could be used for further testing the elements that come off of SCP-173

List of all involved personnel: Dr. Erler, Dr. Gray, Dr. Smooth, 3 Class-D, and 3 Guards.

List of all resulting casualties: None
