Under orders from "Observer" GRU-P Cell-024 was to launch an assault into the local foundation facility in order to gauge enemy strength within the area and obtain paranormal items for testing within the facility. Additional objectives were to gain information related to what anomalous items were stored there for further study and logging to affirm which items would prove most useful to the cell.

9:35 - Helicopter sent by "Observer" arrives near Cell-024s bunker complex and a squad comprising myself and several other Spetsnaz pile in and approach the facility.

9:37 - Helicopter arrives on site at the foundation facility, surface area is cleared.

9:39 - Gate-A is breached and their main blast door destroyed/made inoperable. Minimal resistance is met in entrance zone area of foundation facility, some foundation security elements are eliminated. Rest abandon EZ entirely and setup a defensive choke point at Heavy Containment Area.

9:44 - The rest of the Entrance Zone area is cleared, documents obtained from printers inside the facility offices are transported back to the bunker and stored for viewing.

9:47 - Foundation prepares and launch probing attacks into entrance zone, which initially falter.

9:49 - Heavy Ludondorf who somehow obtained a Molotov, drops it, incinerating himself and Grenadier Pavlov severely diminishing our combat effectiveness.

9:50 - Foundation launch an attack into the Entrance Zone, beating back our battered forces, some are killed but due to our diminished numbers we are easily overpowered.

9:52 - Myself and Doctor Shirograne being the only survivors exfiltrate out of the facility back to base.

- Material Failure

Failed to obtain any anomalous items from facility.

- Strategic Success

All documents related to significant anomalies located on site extracted to base, main Gate located within Entrance Zone has been made inoperable for the time being.

While no anomalous materials were gained, any and all relevant information relating to paranormal materials inside of the facility have been extracted, allowing us to now adapt our strategy and understand the means of obtaining and utilizing them.

There were no major equipment loses on our end and likely very little for the foundation to gain besides a small handful of firearms. Grenadier Pavlov's body was incinerated, as was his equipment.

Major Davydov and Conscript Urlof are unaccounted for and were likely killed or captured, their bodies taken by the foundation.

Defensive points within the foundation have proven very difficult to force through and equipment wise, they possess fairly adequate arms and personal body protection. As stated, prior in message #0002, as a result of these difficulties and the lack of material gain, I am requesting the dispatch of Alpha Group Operatives to the base in order to reorganize the structure of the cell, GRU-P Soldiers already stationed on site will be reassigned to other assignments while the new division makes preparations.

We will work to revamp our strategy, personnel, and planning as a result of this attack. They too will learn what it means to test the GRU.
