This psychological evaluation is being done to investigate and conclude the current morale of the facility and to see if things need to be improved to ensure mental health is at a suitable level for the Area to operate.

Date: 14th of March, 1986

Interviewer: Provost Medical Response Unit Diana Ambrose

Patient: Dr. Bee

[BEGIN LOG]

Ambrose adjusted themselves on the chair, soon looking at Dr. Bee.

Ambrose: "Please state your name for the record?"

Dr. Bee: "Dr. Bee."

Ambrose: "Your first name...?"

Dr. Bee: "Classified."

Ambrose: "What position do you hold within the Foundation?"

Dr. Bee: "I am currently the Research Manager."

Ambrose: "What was your previous occupation before joining the SCP Foundation?"

Dr. Bee: "Before the Foundation, I was a biologist and parasitologist. I spend just about all my time studying just about every animal or parasite you can think of and how to care for them and treat their many injuries. You would not believe how many times I have seen some poor creature hurting because of some horrible complication. Now I spend my days studying the biology of anomalous beings, big and small. My most recent fascination being one of the UAs we have, it heads solely human hearts and demonstrates intelligence. Truly a marvel of nature!"

Dr. Bee would show excitement as she described her work, but soon her face would slowly frown.

Dr. Bee: "However... The 'Ethics' Committee has halted my Research... They want me to help establish a form of psychological management because of some things I said... But I am close to a permanent solution! Any day now and Ethics' dream will come true and nobody will ever be sad again. No more people will be traumatised. No more pain and suffering. No matter the situation, EVERYONE can be happy."

Ambrose cleared her throat before speaking up, her tone remaining neutral.

Ambrose: "Doctor."

Dr. Bee: "Sorry. Am I talking too much?"

Ambrose: "No, no... Your excitement regarding your tests is quite nice... What are your thoughts regarding the SCP Foundation?"

Dr. Bee: "So far, my experiences have been a bit mixed. The amount of times I have almost been executed are truly numerous! However, it is only because of them I can continue my research and thus none of that really matters as long as I can continue to study and research to my hearts content! Overall, I think the SCP Foundation is a benefit to humanity as a whole."

Ambrose: "Alright, what do you think about Area-48?"

Dr. Bee: "This place is full of crazy people! Like heavens, especially in the Security Branch! The amount of times I have been bullied and harrassed by Security is too many to count. During my first few months here, I WAS BULLIED RELENTLESSLY! THEY LOCKED ME IN A ROOM COMPLETELY RESTRAINED AND PLAYED SUCH AWFUL MUSIC TO TORMENT ME! One of them even plotted to frame me for horrible crimes! Research is full of the only sane people I know."

Ambrose: "I was informed about what happened with the former Marshal, he had issues with you and tried to use..."

Ambrose would be heard pulling out a file from her bag, a few pages were being flipped before stopping.

Ambrose: "An instance of SCP-008?"

Dr. Bee: "A truly horrible thing to want to do something, because of it I get my gun privileged back too! Which is not so bad."

Dr. Bee would soon pull out her revolver and attempted to spin the weapon within her hand, causing the weapon to misfire. The gunshot echoed within the room, Ambrose cleared her throat and adjusted herself within the chair.

Dr. Bee: "Nothing to worry about! I am completely competent with a firearm, that was... All planned! Yes! Very much so!"

Ambrose: "Sure, sure... What are your thoughts regarding the GRU-P, both the paramilitary and scientists?"

Dr. Bee soon started to yell, clearly upset with the question.

Dr. Bee: "THOSE PEOPLE HAVE ALMOST GOTTEN ME KILLED SO MANY TIMES, ALL THEY DO IS CAUSE PROBLEMS FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON! THEIR MOST REASON STUNT ALMOST CAUSED COMMAND TO REMOVE MY HEAD FROM MY SHOULDERS! THEY ARE A PLAGUE, A VIRUS, A SCORGE! THEY NEED TO BE SNUFFED OUT BEFORE THEY CAUSE TOO MUCH HARM! THEY TOOK AN ENGINEER, thankfully the rescue party was able to save him BUT WHAT IF THEY DIDN'T?! WHO KNOWS WHAT THOSE MONSTERS COULD DO!"

Dr. Bee soon calmed herself down, inhaling deeply before speaking normally once more.

Dr. Bee: "My only regret is that I could not use one of them for testing and studies, but they will soon see what we are capable of."

Ambrose: "Do you believe diplomacy could occur or have their actions made it impossible?"

Dr. Bee: "I believe we tried diplomacy, yet they still assassinated a member of high command on orientation day. There is no more room for talking with these people, they have shown they do not want peace."

Ambrose: "Let's focus back on the facility... What do you think about our D-Class stationed in Area-48?"

Dr. Bee: "They have made such wonderful test subjects! It brings me such joy that no matter the test, there will always be someone to test things on! I have been using quite a lot of them recently. They have proven to be such a wonderful resource in advancing progression."

Ambrose: "Do you think D-Class could be redeemed?"

Dr. Bee: "I believe that in their sacrifices, they are redeemed! Every bone broken, every sacrifice, every test redeeming them for their crimes. I have yet to see a D-Class survive until the end of their contract. Though a deal is a deal and I believe that should such a thing happen, a D-Class should be redeemed and be returned to society as a new person."

Ambrose: [DATA EXPUNGED]

Dr. Bee: [DATA EXPUNGED]

[EXTENSIVE PIECES OF THE RECORDING AND INTERVIEW HAS BEEN EXPUNGED UNDER THE ORDERS OF MEDICAL COMMAND]

Ambrose: Do you have anything to relieve yourself from stress? Like a stress ball for example, or a hobby?"

Dr. Bee: "Not really? I think I handle my stress very well. Are there any other questions you have for me?"

Ambrose: "One more. If I were to tell you that you should focus on handling your stress with stuff like a stress ball or even a hobby as mentioned before. How would you feel?"

Dr. Bee: "You are saying I should get a stress ball?"

Ambrose: "Or something that can help you relax, yes. SCP-999 can only do so much, there's one of it and many people who need to relax from a long, stressful day working here."

Dr. Bee: "I WOULD ABSOLUTELY RATHER NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THAT LITTLE MONSTROCITY!"

Ambrose: "Oh yes- You have certain... Feelings, about SCP-999."

Dr. Bee: "I do not understand why I am the only one who is terrified of that thing!"

Ambrose: "Hmm... Perhaps that should be focused on, but perhaps for another day. Tests are to be done, correct?"

Dr. Bee: "Yes."

[END LOG]

Dr. Bee, while mentally sane (For the most part), has shown a certain compassion regarding her work and other personnel. Signs of minor psychological damage has been detected from her negative experiences regarding the Security Department & her fear of SCP-999 has been noted. Besides that, she has shown she is mentally fit to work within the Foundation within her current position.

Your log expresses professionalism, relevance, and reliability. It also meets all criteria proposed. The only criticisms that I behold are formatting issues, but other than that —

This is sufficient. Congratulations.

I would like the unredacted version on my desk by the end of tomorrow. If there are any concerns with this request feel free to express them to me in person or over a email chain. Other than that good work.
