After a brief excursion on the surface, with the security team escorting them to see a hole in the ground, there was some contact by natives in the area who weren't kind to us being present. One of these altercations resulted in Blueberry being ran over by a native who was able to drive a truck. The injuries were extensive enough to knock out Blueberry but he had been medically evacuated to Provost Med bay. There he was treated for fractured/broken legs with splints and ice packs, and internal bleeding from his chest due to blunt impact which was treated with cauterizing the vessels impacted.
Blueberry is responding well to treatment and is expected to be able to walk after 2-3 days of rest. He is only permitted to utilize his wheelchair during this time until his legs are fully healed and is able to pass a physical therapy test without assistance.
