Incident Report #007 "Rescue Party" - 03/11/1985

Rescue Party
During a test of UA-002 up on the surface the security team led by myself and Doctor Smooth were under heavy fire from GRU-P Gunships. Dr. Smooth made the call to cancel testing and return to the facility. Whilst in retreat a heavy blizzard set in scattering members of the groups. I attempted to keep everyone together however was unsuccessful. When I arrived back at castle a few minutes later Doctor Smooth and Supervisor Silverstone were the only ones back. Upon realizing 6 security members and 1 researcher were still out there I handed over non essential equipment to Doctor Smooth such as my keycard and made my way through the blizzard. Supervisor Silverstone offered to come with but I insisted he stay and defend Doctor Smooth.
The Siberian Wastes
I trudged through those god forsaken forests for about 30 minutes. After the 30 minutes I ended up finding Special Agent Mcleary and sent him back to base. At about this point I overheard over the garbled radio communications that GRU-P were raiding the facility. I then double timed it and ended up finding Special Agent Green a few minutes later. I continued my search for another 10 minutes and eventually linked up with CA Voss, FMO MCcabe and another Special Agent. I then attempted to lead us back to the facility for another 10 minutes and eventually found our way home. Doctor Moon and Special Agent Mov managed to return during this time leaving no one left to die in the cold. When we arrived a GRU-P APC was in the door to the foundation. After a quick bit of healing we moved into the facility to defend it.
The Desperate Defense
We entered the facility. Command came over the radio and informed me a GRU-P member was using SCP-914 to make items. I moved all of security to LCZ to attempt to terminate the hostile GOI member. He managed to escape using some sort of cloaking device made from SCP-914. Security scattered throughout the facility where about 5 minutes later the member of GRU-P was spotted ramming and leaving out EZ CP. We pursued and were opened fire upon at Castle by a shotgun. Myself and Voss took cover and I peeked around the corner to see the member of GRU-P wave to me and jump off the walls. I ordered Voss to open the main gate and I pursued alone. In the forest not far from the facility we got into a firefight, I launched a M203 and managed to take down the insurgent.
Aftermath
The anomaly and all facility personnel were secured and Castle was locked back up. Medical Supervisor Pine now under the affects of UA-002 was recovered and placed in a holding cell in R wing. No members of the facility were critically injured and we managed to recover all the SCP-914 outputs (though they were heavily destroyed) from the raiding member of GRU-P. I will note we did attempt to capture a member during this but were only able to get a makarov off of him before he exploded.
