When did you join SCP: Cold War?: About 3 runs ago, I was around for galaxy as well but I won't count that.

Discord Name: bulgarianentity2223

Steam Name: Burundikillsatoperator

Steam ID: 76561199820826697

Highest In-Game Rank: Containment Agent

When do you usually get on? (EST): 6-7 PM EST, if I started working night shifts then idk

Did a staff member recommend for you to apply? (If yes, who?): No.

Tell us about yourself (150 words min.): Well for starters, I have been in the following SCP RP (Not gonna count hl2 stuff) servers to some extent:Old Atlas, New Atlas (I was there for the server shutdown on old and new), zenith, Civil UK & US, Redwood networks or whatever the devil it was called, Galaxy, vortex, Old Cold War, Tempest, Deep gaming, Europa if I remember its name correctly, Legion, Nomad networks, and a few others that were either non-English, or lasted less than a week blah blah blah you get the point, I've played SCP RP to hell and back so I am not new to this stuff.

I am not totally sure how to connect this from the previous paragraph in an organic way, but I have been making or helping make player factions pretty much since I got into multiplayer servers, some groups I'll name here: 101 Boys, PAM, P.F.F, F.L.A.Y., Resistance, Green Battalion, P.C.S.O., some trade organization I can't remember, ?Liberty's shadow?, and 1 or 2 I can't remember for the life of me. Some I wrote were literally just for lore shit to bring up and never had any players in an organizational sense, Yukon Research Center, Al-Pinewood Media center, CGITV-2. I did a lot of this stuff because I was interested in 3 things basically:
1. Military organization, strategy, and tactics which could be applied through these factions via RP
2. Really funny or cinematic moments that would happen from some of the nicer concepts.
3. Being able to RP without dealing with worthless whitelists and god forbid teamspeak
If you want proof of this stuff, ask me in the discord I got plenty of screenshots, videos, and flags. When players exist who wish to act in an organized fashion, mods or not, I generally try to create something out of it since that's what I find fun in addition to generally entertaining RP (or at least trying to do entertaining rp) since I think its funny.

What could you do to help the community and/or the server?:

1. Ad-hoc rulings and grey area's should not fade away so you get inconsistent or power tripping staff. A staff team not run by 5000 pound landwhales is not completely off the table with a good system in place.
2. With the experience I have had in the past, it is within reason that I could create a series of engaging events to retain or gain players.
3. I have no intentions of being a hypocrite, I've dealt with dozens of shit admins and I don't intend on driving away players with that same non-sense that ends up in trolling videos.
4. I would love to encourage players creativity and groups with some good RP mod work, people are here to have fun and that ought to be the focus IMO.

Do you have any administration experience from other servers?: Other than semi-adjacent stuff like group CO stuff, I was game master on legion for about 2 months, and I briefly ran a private server with my friends as the owner which was also SCP RP, though the "RP" part is debatable since it was pure anarchy.

Were you staff on SCP: Cold War (2023)?: I don't think so.

Are you over the age of 15?: Yes.

Are you familiar with the MOTD?: Yes

What would you do if you saw a lone Security or Researcher on the surface?: Well I would try to confirm if he's really just bumbling around up there without a purpose, I would /looc him why he's up there if nothing obvious is afoot, if what follows does not seem to line up with his story, or he refuses, he gets TP'd back to spawn and I tell him he should try to interact with players instead.

Explain what you would do in the event of each SCP killing a player:

035:

Acceptable, violent SCP.

049:

Acceptable, violent SCP, assuming he's not under clear gunpoint, his target has the pestilence, and he used a /me to show he touched the player,

106:

Acceptable, violent SCP.

131:

Not sure how 131 would kill someone but if he did that would prob be a fail rp warning or verbal, or a funny clip. (be honest)

173:

Acceptable, violent SCP.

294:

You only really have to worry about the users doing something wrong with it like instantly trying to order an anomalous drink with no prior knowledge.

343:

This should be a warn automatically obviously.

999:

See 131.

1036:

1036-5 is acceptable, 6 to 7 need a "reason" (that should be more exact), 1 should never kill anybody however he would do it, breaking those rules should be fail rp.

1048:

Acceptable, if A: the bear targets someone who is alone and B: the bear uses a knife-like weapon no larger than well, a knife, failure to do so is fail rp.

1048-A:

Violent SCP, acceptable.

1370:

Acceptable if it thinks the target is a sentient being, other wise fail rp.

2006:

Very circumstantial, obviously if the form scares people in way that requires killing people then yeah whatever, but the little line that says "but should avoid doing so" is sure to create a myriad of grey area's and fierce arguments. A blatant example like a 2006 player running room to room instantly killing people for no reason is obviously a ban situation.

2292:

If enraged generally or at a particular target, acceptable, if not, fail rp,

2300:

Acceptable with some sort of proper provocation, though what really counts as such outside the destruction of artwork idk, if they are running around causing destruction for no reason most likely a ban.

2337:

Outside of self defense, ban.

Explain how to use a /me and the roll system: A /me is of course, typing /me then the thing that the "Me" in question is doing and rolls can be used with the B menu for chance related things. Character roll bonus's factor of course.

Explain NLR: NLR, or New Life Rule, means every time you die and respawn you need to act as if you do not remember your characters past life or death. This also means you cannot go to the location of your previous death on purpose for the previous reasons.

Explain RDM: Random Death Match is foregoing any RP to just gun down people for fun. RDM is also applied in like every server ever as something stack with fail RP, IE no terror attacks allowed, therefore its not rp, therefore that was just a death match without RP, but its also fail rp since for whatever reason its not legitimate. Im yapping but I've never seen this not happen for some reason.

Explain Metagame: Basically metagaming is knowing or acting on information your character should not be able to know, typically through OOC channels of information such as discord but this can manifest itself in many ways IMO.

Do you have a microphone?: Yes, though its not the greatest frankly.

Are you aware the training/interview time is 7:30 P.M. (EST): Yes, though im curious how strictly that is enforced.

If so, will you be able to make it? (If no, your application will be postponed.): Depends on the day I am doing it on.

Are you interested in potentially becoming SCP: War on Terror staff?: Yes, mostly for the RP mod stuff but some decent staffing has been something I always wondered about, its a unique perspective for sure.

(Note, The SCP rules section is pretty inconsistent on my responses here since MOTD has no punishment section, if I had the choice I would just unwhitelist them for like or a 3 days)

I was under the impression you needed to staff stuff if you wanted to do RP mod stuff.

After some discussions with staff we have decided that we would like to see more of how you are preforming in-game before making a decision. We will be keeping an eye out and will come back to this application in a week.
