Good morning, evening or night.

As you may have heard or are already aware, there is currently an active investigation into Lieutenant Sardine of the Security Department regarding alleged assault against Dr. King of the Research Department. At the date of the incident, I believe you were on duty at this time though I could be mistaken. As such, I am requesting you provide any information to the situation as you know as an official Provost representative. This would include the lead up to the incident including the detainment of a number of researchers, as well as the incident itself and anything that happened relating to it afterwards.

I would also like to request that you look over the forwarded emails I have sent to the Provost department that include statements from both Sardine and King. Once that is done, I would like an opinion on the matter (since this is your job) as well as recommendation for punishment if deemed necessary. Please note that I will have final say in this regard, but second opinions would assist in the facilitation of this investigation.

If there is any questions or recommendations, feel free to reply.

Respond as soon as you can,
-Jack Danger (Chief of Security)

Hello, sir.

I have attempted to try and figure out what happened during the time King made his initial claim and he opted to not tell me anything after I called him to interrogation. I soon tried to speak with him about it more over the radio but something occurred and I couldn't focus on the incident regarding Lieutenant Sardine & Dr. King. After the emergency was handled, I attempted to check the cameras but I lack clearance due to my current level and clearance.

My recommendations regarding both parties? If Lieutenant Sardine is found guilty of the accusations against him, I do believe a strike and note on his permanent record should be applied with him avoiding any contact with Dr. King whether if he is guilty or not. If Dr. King is found guilty of fabricating accusations against Lieutenant Sardine, I believe an extensive conversation with Dr. Smooth should be had regarding the current and high tension regarding Research and Security. It is boiling over and it's starting to become an issue.

I am ultimately requesting that I get special clearance with checking logs and cameras, as I cannot conduct proper investigations and work without the help of SOC and that is a glaring issue if a SOC member or ROC member is involved in said investigation.

Kind regards,

Diana Ambrose (Provost Medical Response Unit)

I would sign off on the request for access to check certain logs and camera footage. With the recent divisional changes I think it makes sense to allow MPs to view camera footage as needed. All actions using the system is logged already so no future bad actors could access this without notice.
